Mondo Sets Steeplechase Personal Record at Larry Ellis
Mondo ran the 3,000 meter steeplechase in 10:53.77 to set a new personal best time.
The Central Connecticut women's track and field team kicked competed three athletes on the first day of the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational on Friday.
Junior Madeline Mondo had a record setting performance in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a personal best time of 10:53.77 to place 18th overall.
Sophomore Gianna D'Amato placed 14th in the hammer throw with a mark of 34.77 meters. Junior Abrah Toomey finished in 18th place with a throw of 32.30 meters.
The women's events will begin tomorrow at 12:15 p.m. in the 4x100 meter relay.
