Women's Indoor Track Picks Up Three All-Conference Awards
Junior McKenna Kilian was named to the All-NEC First Team.
The Northeast Conference released the 2018 Women's Indoor Track and Field All-Conference selections on Tuesday afternoon, honoring three Central Connecticut Blue Devils. Junior McKenna Kilian was named to the All-NEC First Team to lead the women's awards after winning the NEC Long Jump Title (5.62m) and becoming the first women's athlete to do so in program history.
The Blue Devils silver medal DMR team, consisting of freshman Angelia Rafter, junior Sierra Nesmith, Kilian, and sophomore Megan Brawner earned a spot on the Second Team (12.17.86). Junior Dawn Hubbell was also selected to the Second Team was earning silver in the 5000 meter run with a time of 17:27.62 at this years championship meet.
