Wolliston and Nesmith Compete at ECAC Championships Sunday

Wolliston ran in the 60m hurdle finals and Nesmith competed in the triple jump.

Wolliston and Nesmith Compete at ECAC Championships Sunday

Senior Melissa Wolliston competed in the 60m hurdle finals and sophomore Sierra Nesmith in the triple jump at the ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championships in Boston, MA. Wolliston placed ninth in the 60m hurdles after tying her own school-record on Saturday.

COMPLETE ECAC RESULTS

Wolliston clocked a time of 8.87 in the final on Sunday to earn a ninth-place finish. She tied her school-record with a time of 8.68 in the semifinals on Saturday.

Nesmith recorded a best leap of 11.45 meters to place 14th among the field. Nesmith was crowned the 2017 Northeast Conference champion in the event earlier this month.
