Bio

Lauren Pallone returns to the CCSU women’s swimming and diving program as an assistant coach for the 2016-17 season.  Pallone, a member of the 2003 Northeast Conference Championship team, was previously an assistant for the Blue Devils following her graduation from CCSU.  She volunteered for two seasons with the Blue Devils and was on staff the last time CCSU sent a swimmer to the NCAA Championships.

Pallone was a captain for the Blue Devils in her senior season, and set the school freshman record in the 100 breaststroke in her first season in New Britain.  She was primarily a sprinter for the Blue Devils competing in both the freestyle and breaststroke. 

Pallone is also the head coach of the Blue Devil Swim Club which operates out of the CCSU pool.  She has been associated with the club for nine years.  She oversees the daily operation of the club, including writing workouts, meet management and scheduling.  She has helped produce state, regional, junior national and national qualifiers. 

She was previously an assistant coach at Wesleyan and was the head coach of the Camillus Swim Club in Syracuse, NY for two years.

Pallone is a 2008 graduate of CCSU and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Sports Psychology.

Pallone and her husband Adam, a 2004 graduate and former student-athlete at CCSU, have a six-year old daughter, Kendall, and live in Marlborough.
