Keane Opens Blue Devils Weekend At CSCAA NIC

NEC 500 free champion placed 47th

Central Connecticut State swimmer Abbey Keane moved up four spots from her seeding in the 500 freestyle Thursday morning at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship. The Northeast Conference champion in the event, she touched 47th in the event, swimming 5:01.00.

The Blue Devils will be back in the pool Friday moring, with Gabi Wroblewski swimming in the 400 IM and in the 800 freestyle relay.

The CSCAA National Invitational Championship is being hosted in Ocala, FL. The NIC provides a post season championship event for Division I swimmers and divers that have achieved B/Zone standards, but are not selected for the NCAA Division I Championships.
