Swimming and Diving Tabbed Second in Preseason NEC Poll
The Central Connecticut women's swimming and diving team was tabbed second in the Northeast Conference Preseason Coaches Poll announced on Tuesday. The Blue Devils, winners of five NEC titles under head coach Bill Ball, placed second a season ago.
Bryant was picked to finish first. The Bulldogs have won four consecutive NEC titles and earned a total of seven first-place votes from the coaches. Central collected the other three first-place votes. Howard will begin competing in the NEC this season and was picked seventh.
The Blue Devils will begin their season on October 8-9 at UConn. Central will host its first home meet of the season on December 2-5 with the Blue Devil Invite.
The 2022 NEC Swimming & Diving Championships will take place from February 22-26 at Spire Institute in Geneva, OH.
