Swimming and Diving Named CSCAA Scholar All-America Team
The Blue Devils earned recognition for their work in the classroom in the spring.
The Central Connecticut swimming and diving team was recognized by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) for its academic performance and was named as a Scholar All-America team for the Spring 2020 Semester it was announced Tuesday. Central was among 461 institutions named to the list. The Blue Devils posted a 3.62 GPA as a team in the spring.
"No team was unaffected by this Spring's pandemic but Athletic Director Pincince and President Toro can and should be proud of their team and the work of Bill," CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart noted.

The spring semester was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, but the academic success of nearly 18,000 student-athletes is reflected by the teams named Scholar All-America Teams.
The CSCAA will announce its individual Scholar All-Americans next week.
