March 5, 2018
Senior Annemarie Durham finished in 34th place in the 2018 NCAA Zone A Diving Championships at the Rutgers Aquatic Center on Monday. Durham, the reigning Northeast Conference Outstanding Diver of the Meet, was competing in the regionals for the second straight season. Durham also qualified in the 3 meter event which will be held on Tuesday.
Durham swept the one-meter and three-meter diving events at the NEC Championships for the second straight season. She was named the Outstanding Diver of the Meet and set an NEC-record with a score of 280 in the three-meter event. She competed at the NCAA Zones last season and holds the school and league records in both events.
The top five divers from each event at their respective zone diving meet will be eligible to compete at the NCAA championships. Additional place finishers in each event at each zone will be eligible based on the number of student-athletes from that zone who finished in the top 16 in that event at the previous year's NCAA championships.
