Annemarie Durham is competing at the NCAA Zone A Championships on Monday and Tuesday
March 5, 2018
Central Connecticut swimming and diving senior Annemarie Durham will compete at the 2018 NCAA Zone A Diving Championships at the Rutgers Aquatic Center, March 5-8. Durham, the reigning Northeast Conference Outstanding Diver of the Meet, will be looking to qualify for the 2018 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships.
Durham qualified for the Zones in the one-meter event, which will be held on Monday. She also qualified in the three-meter event, which will take place on Tuesday, March 6.
Durham swept the one-meter and three-meter diving events at the NEC Championships. She was named the Outstanding Diver of the Meet and set an NEC-record with a score of 280 in the three-meter event. She competed at the NCAA Zones last season and holds the school records in both events.
The top five divers from each event at their respective zone diving meet will be eligible to compete at the NCAA championships. Additional place finishers in each event at each zone will be eligible based on the number of student-athletes from that zone who finished in the top 16 in that event at the previous year's NCAA championships.
