The Central Connecticut women's swimming and diving team has set out to raise $1,000 for cancer research in honor of their teammate Katelyn Mann.
Mann, a sophomore with the Blue Devils, was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma during the fall semester. The Blue Devils have set a deadline of Feb. 20 to raise the $1,000, and if they reach their goal Mann will shave head coach Bill Ball's head at the 2018 Northeast Conference Swimming and Diving Championships Feb. 21-24.
All proceeds from the team's fundraiser will be donated to cancer research!
The team created the video below, to share their feelings and to show their love for their teammate.
