Garber Finishes 21st in 200 Breaststroke as Blue Devils Wrap Up Weekend at USA Winter Nationals
Senior swims 2:16.13 to take fifth place in C Final on Saturday night
Senior Maddy Garber swam 2:16.13 to take fifth place in the 'C' Final of the 200 breaststroke on Saturday night as the Central Connecticut women's swimming and diving team wrapped up day four at the USA Winter Nationals at Ohio State.
Garber finished in 21st place overall on Saturday night. She was one of five Blue Devils who spent the weekend competing in the Winter Nationals.
Garber was joined by sophomores Valentina Gomez and Erika Maercklein, junior Aidan Devers and senior Lauren Czulewicz. Garber also competed in the 100 breaststroke on Friday.
As a team the Blue Devils competed in the 200 medley relay and the 400 medley relay.
The Blue Devils will now be off until after the New Year, when they take their annual training trip to Florida in January. CCSU will compete at Florida International on January 11, and then at Florida Atlantic, along with Fordham, on January 13.
