Swimming and Diving Named Scholar All-America Team
Blue Devils combined for a 3.30 team GPA in the spring semester
The Central Connecticut women's swimming and diving team has earned College Swimming Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America honors for its performance in the classroom once again, the CSCAA announced Tuesday.

The Blue Devils, who won the 2015 Northeast Conference title this season, received the award after combining for a 3.30 GPA during the spring semester, the third-highest GPA among NEC swimming and diving teams. Eastern Illinois led all NCAA Div. I programs with a combined mark of 3.70.
The CSCAA Scholar All-America award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams which have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The award is presented twice annually, once to teams achieving the standard in the fall semester and once for teams achieving the standard in the spring semester.
