Bio

Mick D’Arcy became the third head coach in the history of the CCSU women’s soccer program in July, 2000. He is the winningest coach in program history and the dean of Northeast Conference coaches.

D’Arcy graduated from Methodist College (NC) where he played goalkeeper on the soccer team. He holds an "A" coaching license from U.S. Soccer, the Advance National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), and a "B" license from UEFA (Europe's soccer governing body).  Currently, D'Arcy instructs U.S. Soccer coaching courses in Connecticut.

D’Arcy lives in West Hartford with his wife, Christine (Garibaldi), a former All-American at Boston College. They have two sons, Eamonn and Brendan, and a daughter, Maeve. D’Arcy is a native of Ireland, where his father, Eamonn, was a professional soccer player in Ireland and England and coached the Irish National Women's Soccer team.
