Horgan tallied what would prove to be the game-winner 25 minutes into the game, with a strong individual effort, juking a pair of defenders at the top of the 18 and sliding her shot between the post and goalkeeper.

Horgan assisted on the insurance goal, taking a misplayed ball to the end line and passing it across to the foot of Kristina Kelly on the opposite post for the tally.

Seniors Megan Keleher and Caitlin Murphy minded the net for a half each, combining on the shutout with two saves apiece.
