Women's Soccer Shuts Out Mount St. Mary's
Women's soccer took care of business on the road Saturday, shutting out Mount St. Mary's in a 3-0 victory. This is junior goalkeeper Amanda McQuillan's second shutout of the season.

KEY MOMENTS
- CCSU came out of the gates hot in this one and scored the fastest goal of the season so far. Sophomore Olivia Fiori buried a goal just over a minute into the game (1:32). It was Fiori's first score of the season and first collegiate goal. The previous fastest goal was Roma McLaughlin's score against Colgate (5:06)
- The Blue Devils did not wait long before scoring again. Freshman forward Kristina Kelly capitalized on a turnover from the Mount and scored an unassisted goal three minutes into the match. This was also Kelly's first goal as a Blue Devil.
- The first half scoring fest did not stop at two for CCSU. Senior forward Tess Atkinson sent a deep pass into Giavanna Inzerillo that the sophomore tapped in for another easy score.
- CCSU's defense did not allow the Mount to get back into this one. The Blue Devils were able to control possession for most of the game while the Mount were only able to tally two shots on goal. The Blue Devils had 20 on goal and 29 in general.

10 Though she did not make it on the scoreboard, freshman Kelly Brady was all over the offense today. She totaled 10 shots, by far the most from any Blue Devil this season. The previous high was four.
