Trio to Compete at WPSL Nationals
Deiter, Robinson and Sousa will lead the Mutiny in its sixth Nationals appearance in 11 years this weekend.
Seniors Nikola Deiter and Jewel Robinson along with junior Tori Sousa helped lead the New England Mutiny to a nail-biting 3-2 double-overtime win in the East Conference Finals this past weekend to propel the team to its sixth Women's Premier Soccer League National Championship in 11 years this weekend, July 27-28, in Sacramento, CA.

The Mutiny suffered a 2-1 deficit into the final seconds of the game until they notched the game-tying goal with just three seconds to spare to launch the game into two overtime periods. The Mutiny clenched the 3-2 win in the 100th minute of play.
Deiter, Robinson, Sousa and the rest of the Mutiny (8-0-5) will take on the Houston Aces (11-0-0) in the semifinals of WPSL National Championship in Sacramento, CA on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. EDT. For more information, visit the New England Mutiny homepage.
