Lacrosse Bested By LIU In NEC Midweek Game
Winegar recorded four draw controls and three ground balls
The Central Connecticut State lacrosse team fell 16-2 to Northeast Conference host LIU on Wednesday afternoon in Brookville, NY. The loss drops the Blue Devils record to 2-11 overall and 2-5 in NEC play, while the Sharks improve to 8-6 on the season and 6-1 in conference play.
The Blue Devils return home on Saturday, April 12th to host Wagner at 1:00 pm. That game at Arute Field will be preceded by a ceremony honoring the CCSU Senior Class.
