The Central Connecticut State lacrosse team fell 16-2 to Northeast Conference host LIU on Wednesday afternoon in Brookville, NY. The loss drops the Blue Devils record to 2-11 overall and 2-5 in NEC play, while the Sharks improve to 8-6 on the season and 6-1 in conference play.

The Blue Devils return home on Saturday, April 12th to host Wagner at 1:00 pm. That game at Arute Field will be preceded by a ceremony honoring the CCSU Senior Class.

KEY MOMENTS

  • LIU opened the scoring with an unassisted tally 5:04 into the game
  • The Sharks netted the first 15 goals of the game, before Sky Guadio tallied a goal with 5:11 to play
