Lacrosse Falls At Vermont

Lecci had two caused turnovers and two ground balls for the Blue Devils

The Central Connecticut State lacrosse team dropped its first of two road games this week, falling 24-0 to host Vermont on Tuesday. The Blue Devils fall to 0-7 on the year, while the Catamounts improve to 4-6.

The Blue Devils turn back to NEC play on Saturday, traveling to Le Moyne for a 3:00 pm game on Saturday.

  • Lydia Doraz tallied the opening goal for Vermont 38 seconds into the contest, the first of five first quarter goals for the Catamounts

  • Jadyn Jones recorded eight saves in her time in net for the Blue Devils and Maeve Tobler recorded four saves in the fourth quarter
  • Cara Kielbasa also scooped up a pair of ground balls
  • Mikayla Lecci led the Blue Devils with two caused turnovers and had two ground balls
  • Ava Wilde had three goals and three assists to lead Vermont's offense
