Women's Golf Finishes Eighth on Sunday at Dartmouth Invitational
Freshman Meghan McLean finishes in a tie for 13th place overall
The Central Connecticut women's golf team moved up one spot and finished in eighth place after the second and final round of the Dartmouth Invitational on Sunday. The tournament was played at the Hanover Country Club in Hanover, NH. The Blue Devils shot a team score of 311 on Sunday to finish at 630 overall.
Freshman Meghan McLean paced the Blue Devils with a score of 73 on Sunday, tied for the third-best overall score in the second and final round. She finished with a score of 150 (+6) and in a tie for 13th place overall.
Classmate Olivia Gardenhour shot 77 on Sunday and finished at 152, tied for 20th place overall.
Freshman Alexa Brown improved five strokes in her second round and shot 84-79 to finish at 163, good for a tie for 44th place overall.
Senior Cecy Gutierrez shot 83-83 (+21) and was tied for 48th place. Classmate Tara Whelan shot 87-86 and tied for 56th place.
Freshman Roxanne Garceau, playing as an individual, shot 82-89 and finished in 55th place overall.
