CCSU Announces Non-Conference Basketball Promotional Schedule

The home portion of the Central Connecticut State basketball schedules open Monday night when the men's basketball team welcomes Framingham State at 7:00 pm. The women's basketball team opens its home schedule November 21^st versus UMass Lowell. November and December will feature nine home games for the men's and women's basketball team, with plenty of opportunities to come out and support the Blue Devils.

CCSU is pleased to also have group events available for home basketball games that include special ticket pricing, the oppurtunity to play a youth scrimmage at halftime of a game, autographs and more. For more information Aubrey Norris (EMAIL).

The men's team plays its home opener on Monday, November 13^th when it hosts Framingham State for Military Appreciation Night. All active military and veterans, and their families, will be admitted free to the 7:00 pm contest.

The women's basketball team plays its home opener on Wednesday, November 21 versus UMass Lowell. Fans are encouraged to support the University's 'Stuff the Pantry' initiative by donating supplies for Maria's Place. Maria's Place is a free service for all current Central students, faculty, and staff who are in need of food and other necessary items.

The first home game of December, Saturday December 2^nd will be New Britain Day. Any New Britain resident will be admitted free to the 1:00 pm game versus Holy Cross.  

CCSU will host Faculty and Staff appreciation day at the women's basketball game on December 6^th. The first fans will also receive a free CCSU beanie. The Blue Devils host the University of Albany at 7:00 pm.

The women's team will host Colgate at 11:00 am on Monday, December 18^th for Kids Day Out to showcase college athletics to local elementary school children. Schools are invited to contact Aubrey Norris (EMAIL) for more information regarding the event and how to register their classes to attend.

The Blue Devils will be partnering with the CCSU Alumni Office on its annual Toy Drive at the December 19^th game versus Northeastern. Fans that donate a new, unwrapped toy at the game, will receive free admission to the 7:00 pm game.

The final home game of the calendar year comes on Saturday, December 30^th versus Saint Elizabeth. All youth in sports jersey's will be admitted free to the 1:00 pm game. Come celebrate the holidays with the Blue Devils.
