Women's Basketball Falls to FDU on Saturday Afternoon

KEY MOMENTS   

• The Knights quickly took control in the first quarter, going on a 22-0 run. 

• FDU shot 56.3 percent in the opening quarter and held CCSU scoreless for the first 9:03. 

• A driving layup from Belle Lanpher ended the Blue Devils' scoring drought, making the score 26-2 going into Q2. 

• Dejah Jenkins kicked off the second, sinking a driving layup in attempt to build some momentum for CCSU. 

• Brown scored four straight points shortly after to give Central a quick 6-0 run. 

• The Blue Devils were able to get within 20 with a layup from Meghan Kenefick, making the score 41-22. 

• The Knights were able to reestablish their lead before the half with a jump shot and two free throws from Chloe Wilson.  

• CCSU was able to get within 20 once more with a layup from Jenkins early in the third. 

• Both teams scored 12 points in Q3, going into the final quarter at 57-37. 

• The Knights were able to seal the deal shooting 57.1% from the floor in Q4, building their lead to as much as 38 points with 3:03 to play 

• Buckets from Kenefick, Cierra Pearson, Lanpher, and Toppin before the final buzzer ended the game at 81-48.

• Chloe Wilson was the leading scorer in today's game, totaling 32 points.
