CCSU was quick to get on the board with a driving layup from Belle Lanpher, but Hartford retaliated with a jumper from Nayeli Dowding to kick off the game. The teams continued to battle for the lead throughout the first quarter.

The Blue Devils were able to build a four-point lead with 1:45 remaining in the first quarter before UHart hit their stride sinking a jumper and two layups. Cierra Pearson made two free throws to tie things up, but Tatum Forbes ended the quarter with a driving layup, giving the Eagles the 19-17 lead.

Central came in hot in the second quarter, going on a 15-5 run. A Meghan Kenefick three-pointer gave CCSU a ten-point lead (38-28), but Hartford fought back, sinking two threes in a row to close the gap.

Pearson hit two more free throws to end the half, sending CCSU into the third quarter with a six-point lead (40-34).

UHart fought to take control in the third, going on an 8-2 run to tie the score. The teams traded points throughout the remainder of the third, ending the quarter at 51-47.

The Blue Devils finished off strong, hitting a 9-0 run to close out the game and beat the Eagles 69-55.
