CCSU Women's Basketball Hits the Road to Take On Mount St. Mary's
The Blue Devils return to play after over a month off.
CCSU will take on Mount St. Mary's on Saturday, Jan. 23 and Sunday, Jan. 24 with both games tipping off at 2:00 PM. The Blue Devils come in with a record of 2-2 overall and 2-2 in NEC play. The Mountaineers stand at 4-3 overall and 3-1 in NEC play. No fans will be allowed to attend the games, but they will stream live for free on NEC Front Row.

Last time out, the Blue Devils split two games at home against Fairleigh Dickinson. On Saturday, Dec. 19 the Blue Devils lost 55-54 in a hard fought battle. Senior Emma McCamus led the way scoring 14 points, but the team shot just 22-60 (36.7%) from the floor in the loss. The only other player to score in double figures was Ashley Berube, who finished with 11 points and 6 rebounds. CCSU bounced back the next day with a commanding 77-56 victory. Claire Sutherland-Case scored a career high 11 points and the team had four players score in double figures.
Mount St. Mary's is coming off a tough loss at Sacred Heart. Kendall Bresee led the way for MSM scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Kayla Agentowicz and Michaela Harrison also scored in double figures.
CCSU stands at the top of the NEC in scoring, putting up an average of 73.4 ppg. The Blue Devils also lead the league in field goal percentage at 43.0%. Central is led by seniors Ashley Berube, Emma McCamus, and Ashley Forker. Each player is averaging double figures and accounts for 56.7% of the team's scoring.

Central would snap a two game losing streak to Bryant, with the last win coming in the 2018-19 season in a 66-65 victory.
