Blue Devils Welcome Mount St. Mary's Monday
Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Detrick Gymnasium.

The Central Connecticut women's basketball team hosts Mount St. Mary's on Monday night in Detrick Gymnasium. The Blue Devils look to earn its fourth win of NEC play and snap a five game skid. Central is currently in a three-way tie with Fairleigh Dickinson and LIU Brooklyn for the final spot in the Northeast Conference Tournament.
Tickets for CCSU home games can be purchased at CCSUTickets.com or at the box office upon entry to Kaiser Hall and Detrick Gymnasium. Admission for all CCSU students, faculty and staff is free of charge with a valid Blue Chip card.

Last Time Out • Central recently dropped a 74-46 decision to in-state conference rival Sacred Heart. The Pioneers started out strong taking a 26-16 lead at the end of the first quarter and did not step off the gas leading by as much as 27 points in the fourth quarter. The Blue Devils struggled offensively, shooting just 31.0 percent from the floor in the game. Sophomore Ashley Berube recorded her sixth double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Last Game for Mount St. Mary's • Led by Michela Harrison who dropped 22 points, the Mountaineers fell to Bryant 77-59 on Saturday. The Bulldogs extended the lead 60-40 in the fourth and Mount never got back within single-digits shooting just 6-of-20 (.300) in the closing quarter.
Series History • Mount holds a 28-12 advantage in the overall series with Central. CCSU is 8-11 at home against the Pioneers. MSM has won eight of the last 10 games against CCSU. In the past five games played in New Britain, Central has won three times.
