Blue Devils Battle For Playoff Berth At LIU Brooklyn on Sunday
With a win against the Blackbirds, CCSU secures a spot in the 2018 NEC Tournament.
The Central Connecticut women's basketball team will run with the Blackbirds of LIU Brooklyn on Sunday, March 4 for the 2017-18 regular season finale inside of Steinberg Wellness Center for Senior Day in Brooklyn, NY. The Blue Devils will face off LIU at 2:00 p.m. with a Northeast Conference Tournament berth on the line.
CCSU can qualify for the 2018 Northeast Conference Tournament with a win on Sunday or with a Mount St. Mary's or Fairleigh Dickinson loss. Central can reach as high as the four seed in the playoffs.

The First Match • LIU topped CCSU 61-54 in a close game that featured 12 lead changes. The Blackbirds out-scored Central 20-11 in the final quarter and were led by Petty-Evans with 29 points and five three-pointers.
