The Central Connecticut women's basketball team returns home on Saturday, January 13 for a 1:00 p.m. duel with the Sacred Heart Pioneers inside Detrick Gymnasium.
CCSU fell at Bryant, 66-50 on last Saturday in Smithfield, RI. The Blue Devils were led by a career high 13 points from freshman Emma McCamus. The Bulldogs outscored Central 34-17 in the second and third quarters to build a substantial lead, led by a career-high 28 points from Sydney Holloway who also had 10 rebounds.

Series History • Saturday marks the 40th meeting between Central and Sacred Heart. The Pioneers hold a 28-11 advantage in the overall series. The Blue Devils and SHU split the series last season with both teams earning a victory on their home courts. CCSU won 67-50 in New Britain, CT and Sacred Heart topped Central 82-61 at Fairfield, CT.
