Women's Basketball Looks To Bounce Back At Robert Morris Monday Night
Central Connecticut women's hoops visit Robert Morris Monday night at 7:00 p.m.
After suffering its first conference setback at Saint Francis University Saturday, the Central Connecticut women's basketball team looks to get back on the winning track Monday night at Robert Morris. The game will take place inside Charles J. Sewall Center in Moon Township, PA.

Previously For Both Teams • The Blue Devils were dealt their first loss in conference Saturday, Jan. 21 at Saint Francis U, 81-87. Pennsylvania native, sophomore Andi Lydon dropped a career high 29 points, and added 14 rebounds for CCSU. The Colonials most recently topped Bryant, 62-46, on their homecourt. Anna Niki Stamolamprou led all scorers with 20 points.
Series History (14-20) • Monday night marks the 35th meeting between Central Connecticut and Robert Morris, with RMU holding a six-game advantage in the series. During the 2015-16 regular season, Central prevailed at home against Robert Morris, 48-39, on Jan. 25. The Colonials got the best of CCSU in their last meeting on Feb. 8 winning, 72-55.
Last Time Out • Andi Lydon scored a career high 29 points and added 14 rebounds in Central's first conference setback at Saint Francis U. Senior Giocelis Reynoso also grabbed a career high 20 rebounds and five blocked shots, adding 10 points in her fourth double-double this season. Central shot 40.0% (30-for-75) from the field, and St. Francis made 33-of-83 (39.8%) of its attempts.The Blue Devils out rebounded the Red Flash by a 15-point margin, 59-41.

CCSU will look to limit Megan Smith's looks for threepointrange, as she is connecting on 52.3% of her attempts. As a unit, Robert Morris is shooting 41.8% from the field, including 38.9% from behind the arc in league play.
Lydon Lights It Up • Sophomore Andi Lydon is coming off a 29-point career high performance at Saint Francis U. In the past four games for the Blue Devils, Lydon is averaging an impressive 17.3 ppg and 9.8 rbg. Against NEC opponents the Allison Park native is netting 14.1 points on 49.2% shooting, while pulling down 9.1 boards for CCSU.
Up Next For CCSU • The New Britain squad will welcome the Bryant Bulldogs to Detrick Gymnasium to complete the first cycle of conference play. The game is set to to tip off on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 1:00 p.m.
