Right from the tip, sophomore Kiana Patterson penetrated and dished a pass to senior Giocelis Reynoso for the Blue Devils first points of the game. Boston College went on a 7-0 run to start the second quarter, increasing their lead to, 23-13, and out-scored CCSU, 15-4, in the period. Central out-scored the Eagles 21-11, but it was not enough to cut into the Eagles substantial lead.
Fasoula led Boston with 14 points, while Daley and Hughes chipped in 11 and 10, respectively. Reynoso reeled in a game high 11 rebounds for the Blue Devils, and BC recorded 66 rebounds compared to CCSU's 24.
