The Blue Devils threatened in the top of the third when Skylar Warn advanced to scoring position on a wild pitch with one out. SFU was able to get out of trouble, securing the last two outs with a pop fly and a strikeout.

Both teams remained scoreless until the bottom of the sixth when the Red Flash took control. With runners on second and third, Jordan Pietrzykoski singled to right field, bringing both runners home to give SFU the 2-0 advantage.

Saint Francis was able to hold off the Blue Devils and secure the win in the top of the seventh.
