Softball Announces 2023 Schedule

Central Connecticut State University head softball coach Breanne Gleason announced the Blue Devils 2023 slate on Monday. The campaign begins February 24th, on the road, with the first home game scheduled for March 5th.

Central Connecticut State University head softball coach Breanne Gleason announced the Blue Devils 2023 slate on Monday. The campaign begins February 24th, on the road, with the first home game scheduled for March 5th. 

  • The Blue Devils will host 14 games at home, as part of a 42-game slate 

  • The home opener is March 5th versus Bryant at 1:00pm. 

  • The 2023 season starts at Hampton University vs Morehead on February 24th  

  • CCSU will take on four in-state opponents, including Fairfield, Quinnipiac, Hartford, and Sacred Heart. 

  • The NEC opener is March 11th when the Blue Devils travel to Mount Saint Mary 

  • CCSU will honor its senior class prior to the final home game of the campaign, April 30th versus Stonehill 

  • The 2023 NEC Tournament will be played May 11-13 on the campus of the top-seed, with the tournament winner advancing to the NCAA Tournament
