GAME ONE
Freshman Sarah Ogilvie smashed a lead off double to left center in the second inning, who advanced to third on two grounders. Junior Emily Cronin was credited for the RBI single that brought Ogilvie home, scoring the sole run for CCSU.
Canisius tied that game at 1-1 in a pickle play that ended the third inning, and tabbed two additional runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Sophomore Alex Casanas recorded her first start of the year, going four innings and giving up just three hits, one walk, and one run.
GAME TWO

After going three-up, three-down in the second and third inning, Sargent faced the Bronco's clean up batter, Marlee Wilson, with runners at first and second with two outs. Sargent put an end to Western Michigan's scoring opportunity, causing Wilson to hit into a routine fly ball to right field.
Junior Tori Constantin singled up the middle of the field in the bottom of the fifth, and McNulla reached first off of a Bronco third base throwing error, but both were left of base heading into the final inning.
Western Michigan tallied another run in the top of the seventh, taking a 2-0 lead over Central with three outs left to play. Freshan Sarah Ogilvie and junior Brittany Camara, grounded out to third and second base, respectively. Rookie Emily Cronin tried to develop a two-out rally with a bunt single, but was snuffed early as Constantin popped up back to Bronco pitcher, Jordan Kurth, to complete Friday morning's contest.
Sargent gave up just five hits in her second complete game in two days. The Blue Devils finished with three hits in the game.
