Blue Devils Play Faculty/Staff and Alumni Games
Head coach Jeff Franquet and the Central Connecticut State University softball team recently held two exhibition games on the brand new turf softball field on the CCSU campus. First the Blue Devils competed with members of the Central faculty and staff, including Director of Athletics Paul Resetarits on Friday October 23. The CCSU squad then welcomed in former Central softball players for an alumni game on Sunday October 25.

The factulty/staff game was highlighted by two grand slams by strength and conditioning coach Alan Burr and 19 runs by the staff team. Lacrosse head coach Rachel Tringali went 4-5 on the day for the winning side. The Blue Devils got back on the winning side of things with an 8-7 victory over the alumni on Sunday. Among the former Blue Devils in attendance were Jess Caron, Mel Caron, Allie Falco, Brittany Salvatore and Kristin Rozanski.
