Megan Barry enters her fourth year as an assistant coach for the Blue Devils. In her inaugural season, Barry was instrumental in guiding numerous athletes to NEC championships and All-NEC honors.
Barry graduated from the University of Hartford in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She led the Lady Hawks all four years that she ran for them, setting a total of 10 school records. She still currently holds records in the 3,000m, 5,000m, 10,000m and DMR. She was the 2014 New England Champion in the 10,000m and received All-New England honors 4 times, while also placing on the America East All-Conference team 4 times.
Academically, Barry was recognized by making the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll 8 times and the America East All-Academic team 6 times. In 2014, she was selected to the CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-District I Team and the CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-American Division I Third Team.
Barry continues training and competing at an elite level in track, cross country and on the roads.
