Luis Rosado enters his second year with the Central Connecticut men's and women's track and field staff as assistant coach for the 2018-19 season. Rosado focuses his coaching expertise on the development of the sprinters, jumpers and hurdles.
Rosado, an Eastern Connecticut State University 2016 graduate received a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and is currently pursuing a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Psychology here at Central's graduate school.
Prior to joining the Blue Devil staff, Rosado was most recently a volunteer assistant track and field coach at Simsbury High School from 2013-16. At Eastern, Rosado competed on the track and field team where he focused primarily on the 400 meter hurdle event. Rosado broke the 400 meter hurdle school record.
Away from CCSU, Rosado works for Oak Hill Connecticut Institution for the Blind.
