Members of the CCSU track and field team competed at the Yale Last Chance Meet today in New Haven, CT.  

HIGHLIGHTS 

  • Five Blue Devils competed in the men's 800m run with Jake Ireland pacing the pack, coming in at 1:51.17 to place third. Gabriel Kwarteng took fifth (1:51.79 - collegiate best), Aiden Budge took tenth (1:53.20), Ryan McCauley took 13th (1:54.74 - collegiate best), and Salvatore Masciarelli placed 14th (1:54.76 - collegiate best). 

  • Maegan Desmarais ran the 3,000m steeplechase, finishing third in 11:04.26. 

  • Ashley Dana took sixth in the 1,500m run, running a collegiate best and breaking the CCSU program record in 4:22.73. 

  • Brooke Morabito placed ninth in the women's 5,000m race, coming in at 17:01.32. 

  • James Sullivan competed in the men's 5,000m race, finishing ninth in 15:02.04.
