Members of the CCSU men's track and field team competed today at day one of the ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships hosted by Boston University in Boston, MA.

Members of the CCSU men's track and field team competed today at day one of the ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships hosted by Boston University in Boston, MA. Edward Williams Jr. led the Blue Devils, breaking his own school record in the 60m hurdle event. 

  • Williams Jr. placed fourth in the 60m hurdles prelim race with a time of 7.86. He advanced to second in the semifinal with a time of 7.84, a new school record. 

  • Israel Henriques-Setho placed 15th in the long jump, leaping for 6.67m. 

  • Jovan Dixon competed in the 60m dash, placing ninth in prelims with a time of 6.92 and fifth in the semifinal with a time of 6.88. 

  • Aiden Budge completed the 800m run in 1:53.44, placing 23rd in prelims. 

  • Jake Ireland snagged fifth in the prelim of the 1000m run with a time of 2:26.29. 

  • James Sullivan ran the mile in 4:14.13, good for 36th in prelims.
