McCarthy Earns Second Place Finish at Day Two of NEICAAA Championships
Central Connecticut State men's track and field wrapped up day two of the NEICAAA Championships in Smithfield, Rhode Island. The Blue Devils wrap up Saturday's competition with a second place finish courtesy of Andrew McCarthy.
TOP TRACK PERFORMANCES
- Mark Rodriguez finished tenth in the 10,000m race, clocking in at 32:19.41.
- Jacob Ireland placed eleventh in the 1500m, finishing in 3:52.03.
TOP FIELD PERFORMANCES
- Andrew McCarthy earned a second place finish in the discuss throw, going for 51.97m.
- Logan Ratcliff finished 14th in the javelin throw with a 54.75m throw.
- In the shot put, Ed Radzion went for 14.41m.
