The Central Connecticut State men's track and field team was in competition at the New England Championships on Friday. Junior Shawn Akomeah and freshman Mark Rodriguez ran on the opening day of events.

KEY PERFORMANCES

  • 400m Hurdles - Junior Shawn Akomeah turned in a time of 58.01 in the preliminary heats.
  • 10,000m - Freshman Mark Rodriguez earned a top-10 finish with a time of 32:19.41
