Nicholas Earns Athlete of the Week

Central Connecticut State track and field's Eddie Nicholas was named Track Athlete of the Week by the Northeast Conference.

This is the first time that Nicholas has earned the Athlete of the Week honors for the outdoor season this year, but the sophomore was named Athlete of the Week twice during the cross country season and won the NEC Championship race.

Nicholas earned the award after cruising to a second place finish in the 3,000m steeplechase, finishing at 9:01.97.

Nicholas and the rest of the Blue Devils will be competing at the Jay Carisella Coaches Invite in Boston this weekend.
