Men's Track & Field Earns USTFCCCA Academic Recognition
The Blue Devils have won four straight Northeast Conference Outdoor Track & Field championships.
The Central Connecticut men's track and field team was recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for their academic performance during the 2016-17 season it was announced on Thursday.

The Blue Devils were honored for the seventh consecutive year after compiling a 3.09 team GPA during the indoor and outdoor seasons. Central claimed its fourth straight Northeast Conference Outdoor Track and Field championship in the spring.
In order to selected as an All-Academic Team a team must have at least a 3.00 cumulative team GPA. In total, 360 NCAA Division I programs were honored for their academic performance, including 142 men's teams.
