Two Central Connecticut men's outdoor track and field members, sophomore Edwin Alston and junior Austin Trainor will compete at the NCAA East Preliminary Regional Meet next weekend, May 25-27 at the University of Kentucky Outdoor Track & Field Complex on campus. The duo was declared regional qualifiers on Thursday afternoon by the NCAA.
Alston and Trainor will both compete next Friday, May 26th in Lexington, KY. Alston will run in the 110m hurdles at 5:00 p.m. with time of 14.14 seconds. Trainor, who sits in 31st place in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 8:58.04, will represent the New Britain squad at 9:00 p.m.
