Grudzwick Wins 800 at IC4A, Alston Runs at USATF Indoor Championships

Sophomore Richard Grudzwick won the 800 meter run at the IC4A Indoor Track and Field Championships in Boston, MA. The top qualifier in the prelims, Grudzwick clocked a 1:50.38 in the finals to edge out the field.
Grudzwick qualified for the finals with the fastest time (1:50.65) on Saturday. His time in the finals edged out Kenneth Rowe (1:50.51) of Georgetown and Ronaldo Ball (1:50.74) of Coppin State.
Sophomore Edwin Alston ran in the 60m hurdles semifinals at the USATF Indoor Championships. He clocked a time of 8.00 to place 11th in the field.
