Blue Devils Host CCSU Track & Field Invite Saturday

The CCSU men's and women's track and field teams will host the CCSU Track & Field Invite on Saturday, April 2 beginning at 11 a.m. at the CCSU Track & Field Complex in New Britain, CT.

The Central Connecticut men's and women's outdoor track and field teams will host their first of two meets at the CCSU Track & Field Complex this season with the CCSU Track & Field Invite on Saturday, April 2. The meet officially opens the 2016 outdoor season for the entire men's and women's teams as the men welcome nine teams and the women welcome seven teams to New Britain for their season opener.

Fairfield, Franklin Pierce, Hartford, Holy Cross, Massachusetts, Sacred Heart and Saint Rose are bringing both its men's and women's teams to the meet, while Connecticut and Quinnipiac will join the field on the men's side. The meet is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. with the 10,000 meter run and a full schedule of events can be found in the link below.

The Blue Devils will also host the 2016 Northeast Conference Outdoor Championships later this spring. The championship meet is set to take place May 7-8.
