Hubbell Sets Personal Record on Final Day at ECAC/IC4A Championships
Blue Devils wrap up competition in the final day's events.
The Central Connecticut men's track & field team completed competition at the ECAC/IC4A Championships on Sunday in Princeton, NJ. Senior Patrick Hubbell competed in the finals of the 1,500 meter run to highlight the Blue Devils' entries on the final day.
Hubbell earned a fifth-place finish in the 1500 meter run finals. He shaved nearly three seconds off his previous personal-best time by clocking a 3:47.79.
Sophomore Jeremy Willis was entered in the javelin and threw for a mark of 51.70 meters. Junior Dashawn Putman competed in the high jump and freshman Sam Borecki was entered in the pole vault, but neither advanced past the opening height.
