Men's T&F Competes at ECAC/IC4A Championships
Four Blue Devils will be in action on Sunday.
The Central Connecticut men's track & field team was in action at the ECAC/IC4A Championships in Princeton, NJ on Saturday. The Blue Devils will be back in action at the event on Sunday.
Freshman Tyler Latham earned a third-place finish in the decathlon. He opened the second day of events running 15.14 in the 110 meter hurdles. He threw the javelin 54.54 meters and then ran the 1,500 meters in 4:55.90, besting his personal-best by almost :07. Latham compiled 6,506 points in the 10 events to place third.
Senior Patrick Hubbell qualified for the finals of the 1,500 meter run after turning in a time of 3:50.93. The finals are scheduled to be run on Sunday at 12:25 p.m.
Senior Jordan Watkins ran in the 110 meter hurdles prelims and clocked a time of 14.82 in his heat.
The 4x100 meter relay team of senior Chris Savvidou, junior Kendall Walker,sophomore Zach Andrews and freshman Sam Borecki turned in a time of 42.55 in the prelims.
