Junior Malcolm Connor of the Central Connecticut men's track and field team finished 10th out of 40 competitors in the 800 meter run finals on Friday at the Sam Howell Invitational. The two-day meet is taking place at the Weaver Track and Field Stadium on the campus of Princeton University.

SAM HOWELL INVITATIONAL RESULTS

Connor finished with a time of 1:55.30, which was just over two second behind the leader to pick up the top-10 finish.

Connor is the only competitor for CCSU on the men's side at the meet and the 800 meter run is the only event he is running in. The rest of the team is competing today at the Yellow Jacket Invitational at American International College in Springfield, MA.
