Berube Finishes Seventh at UConn Decathlon Meet

Central Connecticut junior Matt Berube finished seventh at the UConn Decathlon Meet. The various events of the decathlon were held over Thursday and Friday at the University of Connecticut. Berube scored 5,580 points to earn his seventh place finish, UConn's Jesse Chapmen won the meet with a 6,541 point performance.

100 meters - 11.60 seconds (732 points)

Long Jump - 6.65 meters (732 points)

Shot Put - 9.10 meters (432 points)

High Jump - 1.93 meters (740 points)

400 meters - 53.14 seconds (676 points)

Discus Throw - 24.09 meters (350 points)

Pole Vault - 2.95 meters (345 points)

Javelin Throw - 38.45 meters (420 points)

1500 meters - 5:20.12 (449 points)

The rest of the Blue Devils will be in action tomorrow at the UConn Invitational. The meet will not have team scoring, but many of the Blue Devils will be in action.
