Men's Soccer Drops Home-Opener to Harvard
The Central Connecticut men's soccer team played its home-opener on Sunday at CCSU Soccer Field, falling to Harvard, 4-0, in New Britain, CT. The Crimson scored twice in the opening 6:40 to take control of the game and did not allow the Blue Devils to get any traction in a contest that was played in wet, rainy conditions.

KEY MOMENTS
- Harvard scored just 1:48 into the game after Alessandro Arlotti headed home a cross off a short corner to make it 1-0. Cornelius Bencsik and Willem Ebbinge combined on the build up to the goal.
- Bencsik and Arlotti would combine on a give-and-go in the counter-attack to make it 2-0. Just 6:40 into the game, Bencsik would finish off the play for the second goal of the day.
- Harvard added a goal right before halftime when Duncan Sutherland picked up a loose ball and chipped it over the keeper to make it 3-0 at the 43:48 mark.
- The Crimson added a goal with just under 20 minutes to go after Nick White picked up a loose ball in front of the net and punched it home to make it 4-0.
