Beddouri Earns Northeast Conference co-Player of the Week

Central Connecticut senior Louis Beddouri was named Northeast Conference co-Player of the Week it was announced on Tuesday. Beddouri scored a pair of goals last week for the Blue Devils and helped lead the team to a win at Robert Morris on Sunday.

Beddouri led the Blue Devils with two goals in two games last week. In the 82nd minute of CCSU's 1-0 win at Robert Morris, the senior forward got his head on a cross from freshman Larson Richards and found the back of the net. The Bordeaux, France native also added a goal in a 4-2 setback at Saint Francis U, converting on a steal in the 32nd minute. Beddouri leads the team in goals (six) and total points (12), which rank third and fifth in the conference, respectively.

The Blue Devils are back home at CCSU Soccer Field on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. against Sacred Heart.
