The Terriers accounted for the scoring in the 28th minute when they got a free kick inside the CCSU half. Federico Curbelo sent the kick into the area where Collyns Laokandi headed the ball back across the goal to Leo Folla who nodded the ball home to make it 1-0.
St. Francis Brooklyn nearly doubled the lead in the 50th minute when senior Carson D'Ambrosio came out of his area, but Amir Islami was unable to capitalize on the free opportunity as his shot went off the post and bounced away harmlessly, but it would not matter as the game ended 1-0.
